Behind the Scenes with Vivien Allmann

Can you describe what your role is at SVA Software, Inc. and what it entails?

Vivien Allmann: As a marketing assistant, my role is to create and design the marketing collateral for SVA Software, Inc., ranging from our flyers, banners, illustrations, event material and more. I’m also responsible for the social media marketing, do e-mail marketing and have set up several online events showcasing our product demos. 

All in all, my goal is to create comprehensible and helpful marketing material for our customers that describe our products in an easy & intuitive way as well as demonstrate the huge value it can offer for the IT-infrastructure of their businesses.

What's the most exciting project you've worked on as a marketing assistant?

Vivien Allmann: Over the course of time at SVA Software, Inc., there have been many great projects where I was able to let my creativity unfold.

One project I especially enjoyed was designing our booth displays for both Data Center World and SHARE conferences. It’s exciting to see your work not only on a screen, but to come to life in presence. 

Definitely a rewarding project to work on with our team and partners!

We've heard you're going to study a semester in Milan. What are you most looking forward to?

Vivien Allmann: Yes correct, I'm going to be studying at the Università degli Studi di Milano Statale.  There is so much i'm looking forward to! It's not only a chance to further my education but also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow personally and culturally.

I'm very excited to make new friendships with people from all-around the world, study at one of the top universities of Italy and explore Milan's historical landmarks and artistic treasures.

Also, let's not forget about the italian cuisine - I cook pasta almost every day, so this is just perfect for me.

If you could only watch one TV show for the rest of your life which one would you choose?

Vivien Allmann: I immediately got an answer for that: Modern Family. It’s the best show I’ve ever watched! Super funny show and very emotional at the same time, it has the perfect mixture. Also I love how different each family is.

It’s the first show where I can’t decide who my favorite character is – I’m between Phil, Gloria, Mitchell, or Cameron. I know, hard decision.

What’s your hobby outside of SVA Software, Inc.?

Vivien Allmann:  In my free time I love to read lots of books & listen to podcasts about personal development and communication. The taught knowledge is really valuable because it encourages self-reflection, teaches better communication techniques, inspires you to take on new challenges and most importantly nurtures a positive mind set.

As for my creative side, I recently started learning how to play the keyboard. It's really fun how many songs you can suddenly play by just learning a few chords. Of course that would be only the easy versions of songs - but i'm still learning!
