Take a look at life while working at SVA Software, Inc., and a behind the scenes chat with our Solution Consultant, Rosario Neuman.
Can you describe what your role is at SVA Software, Inc. and what it entails?
Rosario Neuman: My role is to work with prospect clients to determine their business and technical needs related to the IT infrastructure. I demonstrate our solutions and work with them to define how our solutions can meet their technical challenges.
What’s the most exciting sales project you’ve worked on as a solution consultant?
Rosario Neuman: I recently worked on a project that involved defining the technical requirements in monitoring storage and replication to meet the challenges the IT team faced on a regular basis.
After defining the requirements, our software BVQ was customized to show data insight and alerting for the replication as well as detailed reporting. The reporting was designed to show the pertinent data for high level managers. The IT team recognized the value of the insight provided and validated that this solution was going to save them effort and time on daily IT activities.
You're orginally from Peru. What do you miss the most about your country?
Rosario Neuman: Yes, I was born in Peru and lived there until I was 15. I miss being able to share with my extended family – aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. This summer I had the opportunity to go back and bring my kids with me.
We had a blast, sharing with family, visiting my town’s must-go-to spots such as an Oasis. Having the opportunity to eat homemade Peruvian food was the highlight of the trip.
Do you have a role model that inspired you in your career?
Rosario Neuman: Yes, three specific people come to mind. A manager who interviewed me at a job fair and gave me the opportunity to join a great company. He inspired me with his professionalism.
The 2nd person was my manager who came from Brazil to lead the Latin America technical support team and made the team a success because he believed in all of us. The 3rd person was the last manager I had at the last company I worked for, who trusted and advocated for me and the team.
What’s your hobby outside of SVA Software, Inc.?
Rosario Neuman: I try to stay physically active, so my hobby is to go for walks. I also like to ride a bike, therefore, I incorporate this activity with my family.
We go on bike rides in the neighborhood and bring our bikes when we travel, so we don’t miss an opportunity to have a fun ride.
